MM&L was formed in 1985 by three lawyers who had been members of Pittsburgh’s largest law firm. Throughout its history, MM&L has actively resisted increasing its size and has remained committed to its founding principle that legal services of the highest quality can best be provided - i.e., maximizing success and cost effectiveness for the client and at the same time the professional satisfaction of the attorneys - by a small group of attorneys and staff dedicated to their clients and each other.
